About the Founder
Prept was founded by Dr. Jerri Bland, who has spent over 25 years navigating enterprise technology as a woman in STEM—first as one of the few women in the room, then as a leader building teams and championing others.
Throughout her career, Jerri saw a pattern: talented people—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds—would lose opportunities not because they lacked capability, but because they couldn't effectively communicate their value in high-pressure interview situations.
As a minority woman who had to learn these skills the hard way, Jerri built Prept to ensure the next generation doesn't have to. Every student deserves the chance to translate their hard work into career success. Every training program deserves tools that actually move the needle on placement rates.
